April 22, 2009
Vector Entertainment has changed the start date of the Fastest Road to Fun Contest to May 18, 2009. Vector Entertainment invites all racing and gaming fans to design and submit a vehicle using the CarStructor easy-to-use online design tool. The grand prize winner's submission will become one of the official starter vehicles for Vector City Racers and the winner will receive tickets and roundtrip air travel to their choice of one of four national racing spectator events.
Vector City Racers, developed by Mind Control Software, is an integrated game experience that combines the depth of a massively multiplayer online game (MMO) and the competition of circuit track racing in a casual environment where all roads lead to fun. Vector City Racers' environment is comprised of shapes and structures that are constructed in real-time 3D as the players explore and interact through the game's cities.
The grand-prize winner's original vehicle will be featured in the game as one of several default starter vehicles. The grand prize also includes tickets and air travel for up to a family of five to one of the following of the winners choosing: NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (9/6/09); NHRA Mac Tools Nationals (9/2-7/09); MotoGP Indianapolis Grand Prix (8/20/09); or Indy Cars IRL Infineon Raceway (8/23/09). Second place winner will receive a lifetime membership to the Vector City Racers game. The third place winner will receive a signed copy of the Vector City Racers comic book from world-renowned comic illustrator and writer Kyle Baker.
The Fastest Road to Fun Contest will officially begin on May 18, 2009 and ends on July 20, 2009. The winner will be chosen and announced on July 27, 2009. For full details and official rules, please log onto to Vector City Racers beginning May 18th.
