UI/UX Artist

Responsibilities:

The UI/UX Artist’s primary responsibilities will include designing and building storyboards, generating proof-of-concept mockups, and working with art and engineering in implementation of the user interfaces for multiple game projects including rich/thick client, browser-based, and smartphone games. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in visual design, strong game UI/UX sensibilities, outstanding "people" skills, and a longstanding passion for playing games of multiple genres and platforms.

 

Requirements

bullet   Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

bullet   Proven leadership experience.

bullet   Absolute Passion for playing and making computer games.

bullet   Self-motivated and self-managed with a high degree of analytical ability.

bullet   Ability to work well in a team environment.

bullet   Ability to define and create UI elements, mock-ups, storyboards, and wireframes in a fast-paced environment.

bullet   Familiarity with software and tools needed to create assets across a range of engines and technologies.

bullet   Deep understanding of user experience and gameplay fundamentals.

bullet   Ability to work closely with project team members to execute design and work through design revisions as needed.

bullet   3+ years game design experience including UI Design experience on a shipped product.

 

Desired

bullet   Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.

bullet   Experienced in designing or playing casual/social games.

bullet   Experienced in designing or playing table-top games and TCGs.

bullet   Non-design development experience (as an artist, sound designer, programmer, etc).
